MEET OUR TEAM
Dr Matthew Salameh
Dr Matthew Salameh is a caring and gentle Dentist whose capability spans across all facets of dentistry, from general examinations, family and paediatric dentistry, restorations, extractions, crowns and root canals. Matthew graduated from The University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Medical Science in 2005, acquired a Bachelor of Dentistry in 2009, and continues to broaden and expand his dentistry education by maintaining ongoing studies in the fields of oral health to keep up to date with the latest technologies and upkeep techniques for patient treatments.
Matthew is known in the Haberfield community as the Smiley Dentist not only by nature but specialises in providing patients with a perfect bite and smile that suits them by using either Invisalign (clear aligner braces) or regular metal braces. Further, he also specialises in implant treatments.
Since Matthew was a very young boy, he always knew he wanted to become a dentist and went on to make it his life’s passion. Motivated in patient care, Matthew is keen to break down the barriers and fears we have in visiting the dentist so that it is an enjoyable experience.
On a personal note, Matthew enjoys spending time with his growing family, good food, keeping fit at the gym or outdoors and catching up on some old movie classics.

Our Practice Manager Sandra is a warm and friendly person often greeting our patients at our reception or answering patient queries over the phone. Sandra has a strong background in education, so she recognises the importance of good communication between our staff and patients. Sandra makes it her priority each day to ensure our patients have a good understanding of their scheduled appointments and what to expect with their selected dental service.
Sandra has a long-standing relationship with many of our existing patients and loves getting to know our new patients to support them on their dental journey.
Sandra brings strong management, organisational and people skills developed over many years of experience. Sandra, together with her husband Dr Richard Costa (former Principal Dentist, now retired) nurtured and built the strong reputation of Haberfield Dental Practice for over 30 years.
Misha is our full-time Dental Nurse and Receptionist here at Haberfield Dental, graduating from Dental Nursing in 2020 but has been working in the industry since 2018. She has a strong interest in dentistry and really enjoys working as a dental assistant.
