Cancellation Policy

We strive to provide excellent dental care and to schedule appointments at a time that suits your needs. Should you be unable to attend your appointment time we request that at least 48 hours’ notice be given to avoid a cancellation fee. This will allow us to reschedule your appointment and accommodate other patients on our waitlist.

Payment Policy

Haberfield Dental Practice is a private dental practice. We aim to provide the very best dental care and service possible. Our fees are structured to reflect the time you spend with your dentist, the complexity of your issues, as well as any procedures performed during your appointment.

We require payment on the day of your dental treatment.

We accept cash, bank cheque, Efptos, Visa, Mastercard and Amex credit cards.

However, for some ongoing treatments we can arrange a regular payment plan. Speak to our staff who will be happy to assist you.

For those with private health insurance we offer a Hicaps facility. This will allow you to claim your rebate from your health fund instantly, leaving only the difference between the rebate and our fee to pay.

Infection Control Policy

Our infection control policy and procedures follow current best practice guidelines. All dental instruments are either single use with immediate disposal, or sterilised before use.

You can be confident that:

  • We pride ourselves on executing the highest standards of sterilisation
  • You are being treated in a COVID safe dental environment
  • Our staff have been trained in infection control practices and are engaged in ongoing infection control education.

Our Privacy Policy

Your dental record and any other information that we collect is kept strictly confidential and used only for your treatment and care. It is the policy of this practice to maintain security of personal information at all times, and to ensure that the information is only available to authorised members of staff.

Your dental file is handled with the utmost respect for your privacy. The file will be accessed only by your dentist, and when necessary, by other staff in the practice for communicating relevant information to specialists or allied health professionals. It may also be necessary for our staff to access your file to address administrative details such as payments and reminder notices. As a condition of their employment, all our staff are bound by strict privacy and confidentiality requirements.
