- Final Impressions – These are more accurate and are used to create your custom dentures. The accuracy of these impressions is key to ensuring the dentures fit well, feel comfortable, and look natural.
However, with our latest 3D scanner technology, we can most often skip the primary impression and scan you in 3D providing an accurate model of your teeth the technician will use to make your denture. This saves time and provides the best fit possible.
How Do Temporary Dentures Work in the Process?

While your custom dentures are being made, you may need temporary dentures. These are designed to fit over your gums and provide an immediate solution for missing teeth or extracted teeth. Temporary dentures can help you feel more comfortable and confident while we work on your permanent dentures.
During this phase, we may also make some adjustments to ensure you feel comfortable with your temporary dentures, allowing you to practice eating and speaking while we finalise your custom dentures.
